Prior to Homeland, it was the best series Showtime's ever had. And if Homeland continues its current shitplunge, it stands a decent chance of regaining that throne.
It's made slightly worse in that it's immediately followed by another very stretched out sentence. I mean I had to mentally diagram the sentence just to figure out what it was saying.
