Killen has already gone on record that the final scene was written and filmed before they had any idea of cancellation. The final scene was in fact part of their initial pitch to the network.

I thoroughly reject the notion that some are presenting that the whole series was just Britten's dream, and the final scene is him waking up. That would be ridiculous. I posted this in the comments section of Sepinwall's interview, so I'll just repost my interpretation here:

I actually kind of hope there's another Bad Boys just because I find it kind of hilarious that Will Smith receives second billing, just because Lawrence was deemed slightly more famous when they signed their contracts for the first movie. Something about the world's biggest movie star getting billed second to the Big

"Basically, House had already set up his entire plan before the start of the episode. All the conversations with dead (or absent) people were, I guess, to talk him out of a brief dalliance with suicidal thoughts? Did he shoot up after setting the fire?"

Yeah, he only did the movie because Disney agreed to produce and distribute The War At Home.

So how the hell did Nolan not immediately realize he'd been made after talking to White Hair? The fella made clear that he was suspicious and Nolan's lies when pressed were terrible. He should've been thankful he got out of that house alive and immediately got on the phone and to get a bunch of bodyguards to surround

I will always hate Lisa Simpson for tearing up that $12 million check.

She has that Susan Sarandon "aging redhead with huge tits" thing going for her. It's a good niche.

"a drama that brings Connie Britton back to regular series TV, though probably not how you’d most like to see her. "

Hell, I even defend the movie. I'm a freak like that.

Jay S. is absolutely right about L&O getting better towards the end. The final three seasons with Linus Roache & Jeremy Sisto were really high quality. Those seasons could stand alongside the show's first decade proudly.

"Consuela is one of Family Guy’s most enduring side characters, but I’ve never laughed at any of the stereotypical bits that use her. Breaking one of Penelope’s weapons, then saying it was already broken, was yet another example of the entrenched racist humor on this show. "

Like I said, it's hard. Although I don't think it's as impossible as you seem to. Considering the logical contortions he went through to spend two paragraphs talking about "Girls," I think some decent comedic analysis could've been written with similar effort.

"Just listing jokes and saying how much they made him laugh?"
