Better cut it's budget. You don't want them to get cocky.

If they filmed a pilot prior to being ordered to series, it's not a "straight to series" order.
I have no idea if this means something. Maybe it doesn't. But the show never had any horses run a full race continuously. They filmed in portions and then edited them together. So when it's stated that a horse was "raced twice" it means it ran about 1/3 of the track twice. I found this interview with Mann prior to the…
Aw, Todd thinks DVDs will still be around years from now. That is precious.
He extended his contract with HBO late last year, so I don't think he's quitting quite yet. His next project is supposed to be a Faulkner adaptation.
So Lindelof's making tons of money writing tentpole films, yet Cuse is working for A&E? How'd that happen?
I suppose The Crow is also a snuff film then.
Nathan Israel was such a cool name that I wish they had saved it for a character who didn't have "Collateral Damage" tattooed on his forehead the moment he was introduced.
So nobody's going to mention that extended shot of Leon reading a Tony Robbins book? I hope that was meant to be funny, but its presence in a super serious montage seems to say otherwise.
They even acknowledged it on the show. Jenner said that transformation can be anywhere between several hours or a few minutes.

That cattle gun is a filthy whore. He will never work with her again.
You mean he's going to make two consecutive films without Russell Crowe? That's madness.
In interviews, Graham Yost has been all but guaranteeing that Quarles would die this season anyway.
Yeah, I'd say the final therapy scenes of the pilot were definitely hinting at a mystery concerning the car crash. Cherry Jones' character even says that perhaps the whole reason for him living in the two worlds is his mind trying to force him to look for clues concerning what happened the night of that accident.

Killen & Howard stated it in a conference call a couple weeks ago. At the link, the relevant quote comes at the bottom of the seventh page.
I don't think this is a spoiler since Killen & co. have been perfectly willing to state this publicly to reporters, but just in case:
