All I took away from the Escalante stuff was that he was betting on the races. I assume that would be some sort of ethical breach, right? Or is pretty much everything okay in this sport?

Jill Hennessy never appeared on NYPD Blue.
I'd say there's been a grand total of one bad episode this season, so uneven? No.
Milch did not quit Deadwood. HBO cancelled it. I can't believe that people still believe this story, despite the fact that it's never made even the slightest bit of sense.
How the hell has she not been given a USA show by now?
It was hated upon release, viewed as a bitter hate letter to his fans. As the years have gone by, it's reputation seems to have improved quite a bit. Some still hate it, but I've read a fair amount of praise for it as well. Since it was released before my time, I had the luxury of watching it baggage free, and it's…
Love this joke:
It also had Charles Durning in the Denholm Elliott role, Denholm Elliott in the Jack Warden role, and Maureen O'Sullivan in the Elaine Stritch role.
I remember reading some old interview with Allen where he was asked if initial cut of September with an almost entirely different cast still existed, and he said that he tosses all unused footage, so I wouldn't hold out too much hope of ever seeing any deleted scenes from his films.
That was my first film too. I was 13, and at the time, I was only vaguely familiar with who Allen even was, and I rented it because I remembered ads made it look like a slapstick film about dumb criminals. I ended up being very surprised by how lacking it was in traditionally goofy hijinks and how many long dialogue…
You know who else would always express ambivalence towards his show and insist that he didn't want to move to an earlier timeslot? Letterman.
Bill Carter was pissed that Letterman didn't do an interview.
Letterman, Leno, Ferguson, and Fallon do five shows a week (Letterman does four during summer). Kimmel and the cable shows do four a week. Letterman & Ferguson tape the Friday shows on Thursday evenings. I have no idea how the other guys do it.
Not to be overly critical, but if the idea of these articles is to watch a week of a show, shouldn't you watch a week of a show?
Most of the flashback scenes were remnants of an unaired season 6 episode. Along with Mac being thinner, both Frank and Dennis had shorter hair than they've had all season. As far as I can tell, the only stuff shot during season 7 were the Mac/Priest scenes, the scene where they all laugh at Mac, and maybe a bit of…
I really loved this episode. I'm not sure how to justify it beyond saying almost every single joke landed for me. I thought the in media res opening allowed them to make jokes that wouldn't have worked in a more traditional structured episode. For example, my biggest laugh was the first time you hear Charlie on the…
As long as we're talking continuity, I thought Kyle already killed Clyde Frog in the episode where Cartman gave him HIV.
What's so sophisticated about Brody exploiting the blind spot? He witnessed the interrogation, saw where the cameras were, and acted accordingly. Am I missing something that would makes this more complicated?
Yup. Lopez was also the voice of Larry.
Season 5 is probably their best season. Looking at the list of episodes, I don't see a single dud.
