This, like many others, really summed up my feelings for the show.
Over the past year I've come to accept TV's being cancelled, and just to be grateful they were allowed to exist in the first place (Enlightened, Enlightened, Enlightened) but whatever this is just makes for sad, for two reasons.
1. The idea of promise:

I suggest Paul F. Tompkins as the host. Simply for the friction the advertisements could make.

I really do have an odd attachment to the show, and I'm so glad it's back.

Agreed. I am getting concerned that the finale will just be a 10-minute episode, considering how much of the wedding they've already shown.

Well I think whoever hates Girls will DEFINITELY love Enlightened. Everybody wins!

I agree with this so hard, I may have formed haemorrhages. Living in Australia, I had the same problem. There is a program for OSX and iOS called NetShade that serves as a VPN and a server proxy, which meant I could watch the series. It's fairly expensive, but I'd say it's worth a look if you frequently run in to this

It's interesting that for a show where terrorism is built so strongly into it's DNA, the terrorist plots have always been the one's which reveal the most weakness. This week, when Brody gets the call and absolutely HAS to do it, I groaned a bit - of COURSE Nick Brody, a highly important Marine currently working his

I have no idea why the release is so late - The Walking Dead was at the end of it's second season when it started airing on Austar (On a new channel though, which may give some indication). It is interesting seeing what ABC did with Dr. Who though (Releasing it on iView an hour after it aired in the UK, then airing it

Glenn still looks like a prison (WE CAN MAKE THESE JOKES NOW, GUYS) bitch this season. Why's he just standing there without a gun looking at the sun with a guy who's been shot in the face next to him? If he trips over that body and they have the sliding trombone I just won't know what to do with myself.

Do you have Austar/Foxtel? I live in Australia, and have a fruitful pirating hobby (Those three words should inform you to everything I am - A pointless, horrible human). Still, it's fast-tracking seem's to have improved considerably, with Boardwalk Empire airing 5 hours after it finishes in USA, and Revolution (SHUT

I swear eventually it's just going to get into a Beck situation where the show runners will release just the scripts of the episodes  so people can perform them themselves.

I really just have nothing to say. I'm so, so sorry. If I had to try to defend my stupidity I guess I'd say I'm no scientist or just got fixated on the idea of water.
