That's the new trend in raising hit counts.  Say the opposite of reality and defend it.  I don't like it, it just emboldens stupid people to speak.

Part one and two of that very special LHOTP episode "Sylvia"

If you're watching episodes back to back, then the camera episode is actually a fun bit of comic relief.  It's not taking itself too seriously and the abruptness of how the snappy banter full of dead panned jokes switches to interesting characters falling to their deaths is not only jarring, but worth the

Like everybody else (apparently) I assumed this episode wasn't available on youtube, but it is:

Speaking completely from my ass, I've always assumed that it's all the yes-men and sycophants that surround guys like Murphy that poison a career.  Nobody ever tells them no or calls them on their shit in any way that might jeopardize their income.    It's like how Mike Tyson turned to shit immediately after his

I liked Shallow Hal both times I've seen it.  In fact I've enjoyed almost all of the Farrelly Bros. films including 'The Heartbreak Kid'.

As I mentioned earlier, t.v. was decidedly low brow.  There were only ten stations, no cable and 75% of what was on was a rerun.  Radio stations had more influence on people under 25 than tv did (except for saturday mornings).  If it wasn't the news or sports then there was no expectation that television be taken

Reading this, and the mildly militant wrap up, reminded me that when I was a kid watching this schlock television was decidedly low brow.  There was a definite hierarchy and television was at the bippity bottom.  Not much higher than radio, really.  In fact certain radio stations were 100x cooler than anything on the

Stanhope has given more than enough clues that he's going to take himself out.  I hope he waits another decade, but I have my doubts.

As usual with most artists, start with the early work and push one or two works past the first bad one.

I didn't appreciate it as much as I usually  do these DC offerings.  The dialog and plot skewed a little too "G rated" for me.  I like it better when Wonder Woman is cutting people's heads off like she did in her flick, or doing MMA moves like in the parallel universe one.  Little kids have enough stuff of their own

Planet Hulk is like a party in your brain.  I'm a middle aged dude and I was Hulking out for days.

It was sufficiently entertaining.  B.

With Carlos we'd be sure it wouldn't last a season.  But Cook fans might actually keep it strong enough to reach season two.

'Sexist comedy done well" would be considered a niche market now.  Just like insult comedy (Lisa Lampanelli) or shock comedy (Doug Stanhope).  A perfect example of it would be Andrew Dice Clay's old stuff or even classic Sam Kinison.  Basically no one does it as a core of their act anymore because most people have

His early club recordings are actually funny.  Somehow the bigger he got, the less work he put into his act.  And it happened over a really short period of time too.  Not over a ten year career like most artists.
Seriously, that bit about showing up five hours late to his first job is hilarious.

It's a reference to a douchey comment he made trying to shame his haters for not having as much money as he does.   Not an OWS rally.

Because when if it's done well, even women are laughing.  Ergo, not misogyny because it's not hate speech.  Just true.
What's weird it that the answer didn't occur to you while you were typing the question.

'Night of the Hunter' is a great one.  Sometimes it feel like an uncomfortable dream though.  Very surreal and just plain creepy.

The ep was packed too tight.  They couldn't leave anything out and they should have.  Too many characters and waaay too much improvised dialogue for a 30 minute show.  It could easily have been paced into two episodes. I wonder why it wasn't.
