I used to see her at the Y on College, back when she lived in Toronto. Super cute IRL too.

Riverside: respect!
I keep hearing this is good. Samantha Bee guest starred? It's on Tuesday nights, though, and it never occurs to me to tune in…
Sexiest tomboy beanpole on the planet.
That might have been me, when I accidentally spawned in a chopper. One of the rare times the VOIP for the ps3 actually worked I heard my obliterated teammate say "You are a fucking idiot."
Cool. It's been sitting at the bottom of my stack because I'm overwhelmed by all the other regulars. I'll bump it up.
I'm late to this, but I agree completely. I knew almost nothing about her character, but this book is so unexpected and well done. It's my fave of the 52.
This sums it up. It's a very different satisfaction than having a high k-d ratio.
The multiplayer is still super fun, but I think there's a bunch of learning curves going on that are diminishing it a little:
Exactly. I like both games, but prefer the satisfaction of team play that you get with Battlefield, I like the massive maps. CoD is alway *way* more frantic. Props to this review that it recognized the irrelevance of the campaign, since 99% of buyers are not getting the game for it.
I agree —really nice, sympathetic interview. RA has his walls up a bit, but maybe later he'll realize that how completely on his side you were. It must be a shock to him.
Re: top 5, I agree entirely. I actually didn't give JCN a chance, initially, and it wasn't until I read all the glowing comments here at the AV that I went back to it. What a great record.
Ryan Adams honestly can't win. If each album isn't 100% genius, it's taken as a mark against him, and commenters complain about the lack of 'editing'. And this reviewer, while generous and thankfully not full of knee-jerk hate, still finds Adams lacking because of the absence of weird turns.
Really? I've never seen her live but her songs are great and she's got a wonderful voice.
I agree with all the complaints about weak, sexualized cheesecake, but I have a feeling the 15-yr old me would have been strongly in favour. But in this day and age, ESPECIALLY with a full relaunch, there's no reason to not create modern female characters.
Attention to Detail
This is my favourite Fincher film. Let's get that out of the way.
Please don't wish us another Frank Miller.
Loved it for the gun-fights, and it's (apparently) low-budget style. I wish the director weren't so down on it. He should save his regrets for Ultraviolet.
Alice Creed. Noted.
ATRG is still the best of the lot.
