Tonight I watched another episode of The Honourable Woman and the penultimate episode of Mad Men. The one that ends with a Buddy Holly song T_T

Ray tried to beat him up, forgetting that Vandal Savage is well established to be pretty good at close quarters fighting.

And pocket sand!

Dhaemian Dark.

They really should have viewscreens on Game of Thrones.

It also uses the snow monster from Star Trek 2009.

Thor 2. Exhibit A: Taking the Nine Realms cosmology and running the bog standard "cosmic alignment" plot with it… without finding a visual way to represent it without exposing just how ill fitting it is (the realms are discs… in the sky… aligning!)

Only the people from the blue universe remember Awake.

My favourite part is that he doesn't take the time to confirm or deny that the Harry Potter crack was a shot in the dark.

It was Tristan Bernard who said (apparently) that "What looks like love is always love." I don't know what television series I saw the same sentiment also summed up (with an additional expansion on why: love is a thing of the mind,) and it's probably a dangerous notion to follow.

I loved when they punctured it and it just came hissing out.

"You all make the same assessments of conservatives and Christians."
Hey, here's that "all" again. The idea that someone else is wrong in the same way that you are (and not everybody is, that's baseless) doesn't make you any less wrong.

On a pop-culture website?! What will they think up next!

You fool, that'll only happen as he lies dying, having finally managed to sacrifice his life to save others!

Oh yeah, I'm sure there's research that 0% of them are into sports. Sure.

"you know that all of them"

Some kind of folk sound?

They really, really could have in this one.

There are no proper rules for time travel on this show, but I think the general, badly defined idea is that they're running out of relative time since they pulled their younger selves out of their places and time is adjusting to that? As in the time they can expend to do things is limited no matter what order they do

Maybe it just means that they should just let Vandal Savage conquer the world because he fixes everything and then relinquishes power in the span of twenty years?
