As someone who's lead an important part of their life on the internet for a long time, I think that if the writer of that second letter feels that what's happening in SL is as significant as something that would be happening RL, guiltwise, then it kind of is as significant?

It's a real tinny sort of word.

But casting someone ugly isn't in the cards at all the first place.

I wouldn't say that the action is advocated but certainly the (actually very) violent emotion is nurtured (and social validation is sought out for it!) so… yeah, that's actually a dark path to go down.

I feel like the "after dark" part should be whispered.

Well, when the only thing one has to say is "stop talking about that!" one has to vary a bit with the presentation. Mix things up a bit.

Is that some kind of award or something?

There literally was something in the US about ferreting out imaginary satanic cults in the 1980s, so I'd think that was witch-huntier. But maybe that's just me.

Mick, who "wants to see the world burn" (or something) might side with Vandal Savage, who's "making the world better, one war at a time."

I watched the first episode of Manhattan's second season, which would pick up right where it left off (a good thing, momentum!) if not for the whole flashback structure, which is pretty tense I'll admit!

That's what years zero are for!

Nobody bats an eye at "I'm not sure who my people are anymore," even as they fight against someone who can promise Mick lots of things burning down.

But it's written on the box!

I'm convinced that it's Rip, having seen the error of his ways.

How's the peace?
So good.

"Maybe for racists like you but not for regular people.
Guys like you are the reason Trump is winning."

You're right, it's certainly not in academia that we'd see such finely honed critical thought as calling out something by putting a term in scare quotes! Ho, ho, doesn't this word sound funny to you?

Shot of pokeball rolling out of his hand and drops off the bed to the floor.

It's just treating a part of a series as a self contained story in itself. I don't think it's silly.
