The dramatic build to Guy eating a burger with bbq rib meat and mac n cheese on it was pretty compelling.

That "The Leftovers" got no noms invalidates anyone who wins. Esp in Drama Series and Lead actor/actress. Theroux and Coon were breathtaking; especially in the finale. It's east and deserved to readily praise Coon. But when you re-watch Theroux in the finale, knowing what he's up to .. well, just Wow.

Season 3 was amazing and really sort of its own thing compared to the first two seasons. You should watch knowing the finale packs a wallop.

Did "The Leftovers" air too late in the year to be eligible?
