To be fair to Oliver (and I've been guilty of this to an extent as well) when you're coming off a JtV episode you do see romance everywhere. Even if it is just in subtext. And even when it isn't romance per se and just an emotionally charged scene.

Poor Trip… :(
She's dead, dude. She turned into a stone statue. And then didn't she also break up in to little pieces when the car crashed? I cannot remember.
Wait, there are foreign superheroes?? I thought it was all-American. :)
Fitz and Simmons really did improve though. Emotionally, they are carrying this season as far as I am concerned.
Well, he did get the most lines apart from Dum Dum. But yeah, I was surprised they didn't have a moment to grieve for a fallen comrade in arms. Show, I expected better.
This. I totally agree.
Me too… :/
I would argue that it was all tied together—the constantly changing timeslots was a product of the network's mismanagement with promotion and also due to the lack of a broad audience tuning in to watch the show every week.
Whats gross about it? Just because he's an asshole?
Really? For the first time ever? After Firefly…?????
I did! I thought it was pretty neat and great acting on Regan's part.
I like this variation of the show though. I enjoy the fact that they touched on the reality of the situation that women had a tough time post world war II. Even when the woman is as smart, tough and capable and has the resume that Peggy does.
Thompson and Peggy. Called it…
AND flex those biceps a little bit more. I completely agree. *swoons*
I'd like to participate as well. :)
Great articles!
I really don't think this show is going to kill Michael though. For one thing, he is far more useful as an opponent to Jane and Rafael's romance and as a driver of the mystery plot. He also has connections to most of the other cast—Xo thinks he is great, Petra occasionally blackmails him into helping her and of…
Lol I may have oversold this.
I think Rafael has been drawn into the grounded circle of Jane, Abule and Xo while the other characters are still living in the heightened telenovela world. Which is good.
