Faithful viewers (if there are any), I have a serious question. Should I start watching again? I quit at ep 15 of last season when even hate watching became painful, however, the recent grades have piqued my interest. Advise me… ;)
I've read Dunk and Egg but am not at book 5 of ASOIAF yet. I had no idea he was gonna be in GoT dammit!
Oh yes, definitely didn't mean to imply that prior to the Ptolemaic dynasty Egypt was ruled throughout its history by the Nubians. That was poor phrasing on my part.
lol
Didn't the fire sage tell Korra that she has to be ready for the harmonic thingy (EDIT: convergence; just remembered it) in a couple of weeks? That doesn't feel like two more seasons of the show to me. Although I too agree that would be a way more fun track for the show. I am not a huge fan of the faux 20's vibe of…
I'd be interested in seeing a redheaded/blonde Greek… I wasn't sure such a creature existed.
I actually liked the slightly less frenetic pace of this episode. It seemed to indicate a certain level of comfort and was much less shrill than the previous ones. But yeah, different strokes.
Huh. That is interesting. When I was watching they were very much a B (or even C or D) storyline. Maybe its changed. Who knows.
Right??? :)
Oh absolutely. Everyone has made it clear that this show isn't Joss's baby the way the others were. However, it is still going to benefit from his overall guiding structure (one would hope) and the talents of people really close to him, his apprentices, as it were.
I enjoy io9's reviews too. I mostly go there for LoK though. I might have to add the Woerner's to my read list.
*Really*??? I gave up on OUaT midway through season 2 and I only stuck it out that long because I like having background noise while working sometimes… I thought Regina and Mr. Gold were the only good characters but ultimately even they couldn't make up for the utter banality of the rest of the cast.
I actually groaned out loud at Ward's "English" response to Fitz's techno-babble a couple episodes ago. I officially hate that cliche.
Hahaha OUaT blows.
My main criticism is that the cast chemistry isn't there yet. That may be unfair because they've just landed in this plane with each other but even Fitz and Simmons who should know each other quite well and have some sort of pre-show relationship just squabble in a very annoying fashion. How about some girl talk…
Indeed. :)
Granted but Joss is still involved. Even Firefly (his best, IMO) had Tim Minear as showrunner. Its the combination of elements that is important and Shield has an issue with its cast. So if they can strike a quick balance then this show has the potential to be amazing just because ABC is already giving it time and…
That was an awesome episode. I think I choked up a bit at the end. :)
That is true but Jed Whedon and Mo Tancharoen were main writers for Dr. Horrible (right?) and I *loved* that.
