I think even if you're gay, it seems wrong to want to out him and I feel like you're placing too much emphasis on his identity as gay or straight. A lot of gay performers are saying "I'm gay and that's not the most interesting thing about me" and I'm pretty sure McKinnon and her colleagues base their choices on where

Gaga looked so much like Nassim Pedrad, I kept confusing the two. I actually thought Adam Levine was decent. Elton John was so bad, they had to bring Tom Hanks to cover for him a couple times.

I agree. I do not like his appearance, but I feel like that's probably very politically incorrect to say. Saying that out loud is like saying "Aidy shouldn't be on the air at all because she's fat"

Yeah, last time it was a seal being choked.

Yeah, there should be a rule…only one political talk show sketch per show. I think it was an attempt to give Noel Wells a recurring character

He was in the Bar Mitzvah as Uncle Barry and the Rihanna as Blossom sketches I'm pretty sure

On the second one, that's a good point. I kind of felt like the Indiana Jones sketch could have gone somewhere more than where it went since it was so limited by the fact that Nassim only had one line she said over and over. I suppose her swinging on a rope and crashing and feeling a strong affection for Kenan

Some notes:
-The Bar Mitzvah sketch was very funny and plays to SNL's audience well, which I think skews older than most people realize. My dad watches SNL and I know for a fact that he would love something like that (we're Jewish, so that of course helps)
-I agree with Sims that SNL is showing a keen eye for what to

nice to know. i wasn't sure

Yeah, to me, I sort of blame whoever leaked that to the press/internet. I imagine every director has a few awful moments where they go crazy and get irrational, and Russell was unlucky enough to get it on tape

what specifically are you referring to?

The verdict's still out on whether I'm good or not but I continue to get published in what seems to be a larger and larger scale and commit myself to improving. I interviewed Nick Clooney somewhat early in my career and it was a horrible interview and largely my fault, so I'm not denying that at the time I interviewed

No, I'm just suggesting it's an overly trendy thing to do to enter a discussion of the Oscars and say "yeah, but the Oscars are worthless." It's like saying "oh yeah, American politicans are worthless." It's a sweeping generalization and seems dumb to say that in the middle of a discussion about the Oscars. If you

I'm not personally insulted, I'm just saying it's such an incomplete argument: The Oscars made some noticable bad calls, so nothing involving the Oscars has merit.

Yes, I think this is grounds for a good debate. I'd argue that taking your original work and reformatting it still makes it original. I just don't think you can call it an adaptation if you adapt from yourself

Actually, Dax 1 was my fave character for a season or two. She kind of tied all the characters together

hey, this is exciting someone's also commenting two days after the review's been posted. We're like the only ones, Vader47000, I feel like me and you are wading through a ghost town together

Ohh, yes, I do remember that

who's RDM again?

How many good uses of Jake are there on the show? It seemed like there were so many better choices for a ninth cast member a while ago
