I don't think this qualifies as being critical, but rather just taking out all your subdued rage at reality TV and unleashing it on this show.

I think I'll go with Rule of Awesome as my defense. It worked in the sense of the plot, I think you're points are true and interesting but I was willing to suspend my disbelief and wasn't well-versed enough on criminal law to have that bother me.
-Nellie didn't fire herm California did
-completely agree that Oscar was the wrong choice for a Greek chorus
It's not 20+ years for prison, I think I could count on the average audience member to see it as a fun prank
@avclub-ee4fadf37efceab02df97947e8d240a6:disqus I don't know. I think it's also about Greg Daniels/Paul L. telling their friends and colleagues Brian Bumgartenere or Kate Flannery, hey I'm going to have to let you go.
but what's the logic for airing this material anyway, since they're 100% sure it won't make it to series?
i was wondering if it was going to delve into a homosexual or homoerotic moment since Andy was afraid he was gay in a past episode. Why else was he so ashamed?
yeah, why Oscar? Out of all the people, Oscar doesn't make for a good Greek chorus. I'd love to see Pam or Angela or maybe the sunny Erin trying to maintain a straight-face through all the crazy shit going on
I think it's a matter of it not being specific to any culture. I think it was just a bizarre made-up set of customs. It might have been interesting if Dwight's family was rooted in some Amish or Mennomite customs, agree?
Why didn't The Farm just air on a cable network with less pressure to deliver huge ratings?
It would help if they didn't kill 90% of the villains at episode's end. Then they could have a lot more side characters and create a rogue's gallery of sorts like Batman.
that's funny because I always forget it's Judy Greer. Some of her roles like the on-top-of-everything assistant in Just Shoot Me ior the guidance counselor on that sitcom or Elizabethtown are more level-headed capable people.
yeah, and you had the feeling that it was Trudy before they said the name, It is interesting how closed captioning can sometimes play spoiler. Esepcially on American Idol where Ryan Seacrest goes AND THE WINNER IS, and closed captioning will skip the pause
huh?
-I love the fact that Cheryl has way more money than anyone and could solve all ISIS's monetary problems if she ever felt like it. It's like the opposite of a dues=ex=machina
-The Cyrill spying on Lana because Pam and Cheryl egged her on has been done before in that exact same way in Sorpiko and Skytanic, so it felt…
So what exactly was the big secret?
Also, Betty, Amy wasn't a VP. If she was a VP she would have already known James Rebhorn's character.
That line about the parachute was a rare moment for Amy where she handled a moment in interpersonal communication well. Considering she went berserk when Chip Esten's character insulted her and gets inappropriate toward Krista and even Dougie when he was touching her butt, I'm surprised she kept her poise and…
I think if you look at the comments from a few episodes ago, you'll find that the commenters weren't as fond of Amy. The show has taken a strange shift in the last 2 episodes. It's certainly been knew to have anyone in Amy's life take her advice and find it working for them like Levi, or anyone being attracted to her,…
I would have agreed with you 2 or 3 episodes ago. I think she has harrassed Krista and is kind of fake as a person, but still, that doesn't mean things and my sympathies as a viewer don't change (and that's the beautiful thing about the serieS)
