I'm Comment #5. Lucky 5.. Anyway, Erik's talking about Bryan. Sheesh that was one line and the Senator-Oscar-Angela thing was like the D-story. I thought it was a pretty rich hour. The Pam plot was handled surprisingly well in my opinion. I know she's kind of assertive in a way that's bitchy but maybe she had a right

@persia I don't even know what city he's in anyway

isn't groping a little of a strong word?

Yes, I feel like Archer's world-building with the right new characters. The Armory guy is the perfect foil. Straight bureaucracy through and through, and he hasn't yet been sucked into the office culture of ISIS so he's a true outsider. He reminds me of Toby in the old days of the Office or at least how Michael saw

so you're saying it's a psychological horror story? That's a bit extreme

Oh, I didn't say you were the worst reviewer by any means, although I can understand the confusion. What I meant was that this advice applied to you when you were reviewing the Office: "You need to pay closer attention to what's happening in front of you on the screen, stop pre-analysing, sit back and enjoy the show"

Hi, I interviewed Chris Gethard. I don't think he's that funny on his show, but I did interview him, making me special!: http://sophomorecritic.blog…

are you working in NBC's PR office?

Yeah, I agree, not a strong episode, but I don't think that means that the show's not strong as Sonia does.

I don;'t think she's the worst reviewer the AV Club has. I think she has a point that it was a bit random, but a) I don't think Ryan/Carrie would or should happen and neither should Sonya/Danny and I also think b) the show is meaningful when the group is interacting together and squabbling like that. Archer also gets

I think that applies to @myles_mcnutt:disqus  for the Office

probably the only thing I'm not so crazy about, because they're predictable and take time away from the plot

@eric827:disqus Disagree. He only had Nassim Pedrad as a girlfriend for 2 weeks and wouldn't let Nassim Pedrad kiss him, remember? That's a pretty clear give away

But even Timberlake doesn't play gay and he's like an SNL superstar. Levine's kind of got the masculine image too, at least he went for it.

I agree, sort of. He does seem a bit catty in interviews but then again everyone interviewing him treats him like royalty. On a tangent,  I think you're stuck in the past if you say that "Seinfeld" is the greatest comedy show of all time. TV has evolved quite a bit and as any serious TV watcher would be able to

Damn, I thought you were talking about actor George Saunders who won an Oscar playing a literary critic Addison DeWitt in All About Eve. (Wouldn't that have been a better essay? A defense of catty gossip columnists in the vein of Addison DeWitt). I've never heard of this guy and I rue you, Kevin McFarlanad, because I

heh, reminds me of something I wrote on my blog a few years ago (please don't barrage me too harshly for this, this is like the first time I'm inserting a link to my blog into a post after 100 plug-free comments) http://sophomorecritic.blog…

Yeah, I took off the back half of last season because Tom and Anne struck me as dumb.
