How much does it cost anyway? I've already downloaded $12 worth of episodes on itunes for Enlightened and another $15 for Boardwalk Empire plus about $20 for Flight of the Conchords, would it be cheaper just to get HBO? Occasionally I catch up when I'm at a hotel or something.

Fortunately I don't read enough of Nathan Rabin's stuff to understand the inside joke. I'm frankly surprised that the jerk has his own wikipedia entry for that term he coined.

Yes, Erik is evil, agreed. And he spells his name wierdly (although I shouldn't be one to talk).

I don't really care about Michael at this point. It would just invite further comparisons to the old days of Michael Scott.

"turned the corner", thanks for that phrase. I will use it more often. I think we have different senses of humor b/c we laughed at different things in that episode. I did think the dig at Lohan's parents was good

ehh, not bad. I'm not sure if the SNL writing staff has time to watch shows like Boardwalk Empire these days. They're not really TV-watching junkies, I suspect, because they're too busy on their day jobs. They only did Sopranos because some of the writers must have seen it before they became busybody SNL writers.

Feel that way more about Circle Jerk

I don't know. I was just expecting athlete-like levels of acting like Charles Barkley or Michael Phelps. All he's done as an actor, if I'm not mistaken, is just shriek a little bit on AHS. So yeah, I was surprised at how natural he was as an actor and how much comic energy he gave. He did better than Bruno Mars,

I remembered that sketch the most, the most too.Like Anchorman, it was just so absurd and random and Bayer was so wonderfully overdoing the hype every time a new popstar walked in, that I loved it. I thought the Circle Jerk think was the worst thing I'd experienced on the show in years and I'm surprised it made the

Why do I feel like the author put that there to see how many likes they could get?

If Jerry Seinfeld isn't that enthusiastic to be there, why should he be host? Seinfeld was good and it was on 15 years ago, let's move on. And Seinfeld doesn't have that great of a range. I can't believe you can say that Levine was a no-show. Some of the writing wasn't good, but I thought Levine totally was game for

Exactly. Season 1 is Act 1 of a larger story. I'd have trouble being happy with a short 1-season run under these circumstances.

ummm…you mean Levi?
