@olivececile I know, it strikes me as the dumbest move ever. Why kill off a beloved character in episode 2. The point of a pilot episode is to get people tuning to episode 2, and you've lost much of that audience intrigued by the pilot if it's a completely different show in episode 2

Yeah, they should have made her 1st husband like the equivalent of a redshirt on Star Trek. Why waste such a small role on Alan Ruck. I thought this was bizarre and don't know why Erik Adams would support it.

I had zero interest in watching Gilmore Girls and never found Alexis Blidell appealling which is funny because this show appealls to me.
