I'm not actually sure he said it wrong. His accent is just so strong and the word "prototypical" out of his mouth is so unexpected, that at the time it sounded strange. The man, I think in general deserves more credit for his strange ways of saying things. There have been whole episodes where he's said more

Character Round-Up (Because they are characters, and fuck everybody else that says we're here watching human beings)
Former Blues
Rodney - usual absurd self, not too many zingers tonight, which was disappointing, pointlessly got upset about salami and probably tons of other useless shit that I can't remember
Dan - if we

Well, in any case, he is almost an inexplicably bad, arrogant person. Perhaps what he is, more than anything else in this game, is not self-aware. He cannot seem to see how others perceive him. He also doesn't seem to CARE too much how others perceive him. Bad dude.

The hate against 'spineless floters' seems unjust without a conjoined slam against the belligerent control freak strategy, which is arguably more insane and definitely more obnoxious.

I can pretty well understand the Dan Foley hate. Dan is arrogant (though I don't know exactly how misogynistic - this is everybody's accusation - but where's the genuine proof?) and absurd and, what is to me specifically damning, rhetorically ugly and boring.
Rodney, on the other hand, has gotten a bit too much

Getting sick of the Walt storyline. Why Michael still thinks screaming at the top of his lungs is the best way of getting at Walt, considering (1) he's one against, ostensibly, a swath of others, (2) considering he knows the Others have killed members of the tail group, (3) considering he has no idea where he is, and

Keep the quotes up. I'm watching this show for its dialogue anyway, not its themes.

Honestly, Eb was just great in the second episode. I find him, with Richardsod and Al to be the most memorable characters on the show.

Nah, for me, there's only one true spin-off to this show: Wolcott Meridian. With Wolcott slaughtering his way across the desert, one beautiful line at a time.

What a wonderful, sad episode. Loved this line: "My body has suffered a trauma that it will probably never full recover from, so why don't we just face the facts." Tony at his self-pitying best.

Christopher, WHY, do you cheat on your wife? Your HOT HOT HOT wife? Can't you just stare into that hotness and be satisfied? Isn't there space enough in that body and that perfectly decent mind to satisfy any one's craving? THIS is among the most insufferable of your many sins, Christopher, that you refuse to

Good review. Only thing that didn't really fit or relate to everything else in the episode was the AJ plot. AJ's comments at the beginning of this episode were unbelievable, really actually sort of parodistic (500 dollars a Cristal - I mean who complains this way to their parents?!). It seemed rather worth it at

Tony is so jaundiced to Janice's behavior in this episode. It's amazing how much I'm always on his side, despite this being an episode that takes such an eviscerating look at Tony.
I find I dislike everyone in this episode, including Bobby, whom I might normally be favorably enough disposed toward.
The unsympathetic

This is not Catholic. The virgin/whore complex is just popular stereotype and bad thinking.

Their jokes to each other don't do it for me for some reason. Strike more of a pathetic tone.
