Oh Shin-Shin
When ever a minor character gets a laugh out of me, like Shin-Shin's request to take a run at Robin, you know HIMYM is firing on all cylinders. I mean the poor guy is auditing the class, when else is he going to have a chance to use this hard earned knowledge?

I saw it yesterday and didn't feel that the 3D detracted from anything. It just made everything feel a little sharper and stand out more. The times it really drew me in was when you would see weather. Something about seeing rain or snow at that many distance levels did draw me into the 'realism' and make me feel more

@renard Valentine's Day…Bummer.

Big company like Dundler-Mifflin should switch to an online payroll company. That way the checks wouldn't even pass the accountants desk. And most companies don't want you discussing your salary with other employees for precisely this reason. Sure everyone discusses it, but try to bring it up to your boss and you're

Same here. It gave me an appreciation, and at least an understanding, of TV shows gone by. Maybe it's why I like to watch Mad Men since I've at least seen their entertainment. I wonder if any of our kids will have any idea about any of these shows since Nick at Nite could be showing TGIF by now.

Perfect comic size, no, but you can get a box tall enough to have them stand upright. It would be a larger amount of money per year, but if he has comics in the 5 figure range it would be worth it. Its a cool dry place in the safety deposit box. No flourescent lights too. Better then a comic shop.

Parkman decided to give up his powers because he told us that he decided to give up his powers. Nice example of tell, don't show. Wait…that's not what my screenplay book said to do.

Or Jim Kirk's stepdad.

Pop Culture Collison
Since I've always wanted to watch it and the AV Club has been discussing it I've been watching the Prisoner through Netflix. So it was a little disconcerting to see Lundi say "Be seeing you." to Debra. In that one split second the worlds of Dexter and the Prisoner collided, but I knew it would

Roger's line was a nice reminder that he was a member of the greatest generation. The contrast between the coolness of Roger and the almost passing out of Harry struck me right away. Roger makes business look easy becuase there was a time when another day at the office for him really was having blood roll down walls.

I loved that line because it shows that the more things change… When we used to come in from P.E. in Elementary School we'd all line up at the water fountain and take what felt like 2 to 3 minute drinks. Whether this was to replenish ourselves after time out in the humid Florida sun or we just wanted to kill time

In a New York Minute
An acquaintence of mine called me one day while I was on a lunch break from work. He only called me if there was some event we were going to so it was a little odd. We had the same taste in celebrities so he had to call me from New York to tell me this.

Oh man, Albuterol is the good shit. But I'm on a daily now, Advair, so I don't have to use fast acting inhaler much anymore.

I'd tell Conan that Batman's a Scientist.

My condolences on your friend Wookiee. A friend's dad was almost on that flight. If you are in the mood I'm sure we'd love to hear some badass stories.

We met the band Evanescence at our EB Games when they were in town playing a show. The main singer wasn't there so I don't think we would have recognized them if they hadn't mentioned it. I don't think they bought anything. Though store legend says Steven Spielberg came in once to buy a bunch of PS1 games back in the

Tyson used to come into our movie theater a lot since he lives close and his training gym is a few miles downtown from it. He's someone who is shorter then you'd expect.

A friend of mine saw him in a full suit walking down the corridor of a Vegas casino. Since it was right before the Tonight Show we think he was there to film him running past the Vegas sign in his first episode.

Three times and counting for meeting the great one. But you never forget your first time. One of my prized possessions is still my signed copy of his auto-biography where he signed it "Shoot straight, Brisco." A great memory, and just good advice.

LEEEOOONNNN! HEEEELLLLPPP!!!
