I also approve bringing Stanford into the Silicon Valley world. I took a somewhat BigHead-esque path into working at Stanford, having my educational applications rejected three times before becoming a guest researcher solely because i had glommed on to a bigger name that they wanted to hire.

It's generally just one line, at worst one paragraph, in a review. I've got to admit i also find it excessive and occasionally misplaced, but its' also quite easy to gloss over.

But what about Lena's neck? I think it was just way pronounced because she was spending this episode mostly kissing much taller men, but holy jesus Katie McGrath must be able to lift 200 lbs with her neck, it looks like the trunk of a giant sequoia.

Despite the fact that this show is veering towards West Wing lite - a fantasy of what could happen if only we had good people in charge of the country doing good things - the BEST they could manage on a topic that had 82% popular support is a 51% majority vote on a shitty bill?

Raven was the logical choice. Remember how she had a deadly brain embolism just waiting to go off, but was totally willing to go into space, effectively on a suicide mission due to the changes in gravity affecting her bloodstream?

I still argue that this was different from Mount Weather because unlike the weathermen, Clarke et al have no viable alternative. Mount weather was extracting bone marrow from the 100 because they, for reasons that can only be described as mustache-twirling, decided that a short-term 'make us immune today even though

But whose balls are we actually looking at when we think we're seeing Russian intrigue?

I just decided that it would be more fun to have LARPers do the plot to this type of superhero show so the plot holes are less ridiculous. "Hey, we are literally sitting in a time machine right now, maybe we go to the burial site of this guy who's been dead for thousands of years when there's not a war going on?"

I had the same thought. 'Damn these writers aren't even trying to make the doctors look competent, i guess it doesn't serve their narrative'

But…but….casual hookups are hard when you have a pussy of steel. After how quickly Alex reminded her to blow her cupcake 'gently', I get the impression that Kara has a habit of bringing the pain when she gets excited, and I seriously doubt she's had training in how to make casual 'dating' work without breaking her

Time travel storylines have a serious need to be extraordinarily pre-planned. This one, in particular, seems like the journal/diary can be a literal do-over, which is actually pretty cool…

It is quite ridiculous for Todd to be so angry about Dirk not telling him about the time travel given how long he held on to HIS time travel knowledge and, ya know, the fact that he already should have known all about the time travel thing anyway.

My (probably too generous) interpretation of the ending was that the 'real life' event was the happy ending, while the Richard Castle/NikkiHeat Fiction series was ended with them dying from their attempts to take out the big bads.

preemptively murdering a camp of people who are tasked with guarding you is light-years different from irradiating mount weather. The weathermen were currently engaged in active genocide against the 100. The grounders were a peacekeeping force currently engaged in standing on land.

There were four times during this episode where i thought 'no matter how good Cisco is, Ravi is still the best'

Is there anyone on this show who doesn't have at least one evil family member?
I was thinking this through for awhile, and the BEST i could do was the Lances, and Sarah was a trained assassin for years. (And roy, who is just under characterized to the point where he has no relatives)

I hated the direction they took the show after the first two seasons because i thought that a time travel show named continuum with a prominent if mysterious character named Esher should probably not degenerate into 'time is a multiverse and we can do whatever we want because infinite timelines'.

Shake hands with Danger! (Now with more zombies!)

We haven't seen McVeigh recently at all, but I think his relationship has been really well developed - I cared a lot more about him getting served than i would if cary/kalinda had another on again/off again quarrel.

The nuance of that argument is completely obliterated by her response to the question. Are voters smart enough to understand that she has no control over who starts a PAC and contributes to it? We'll never know, because the politicians/pollsters all assume the worst and we never (ever) hear it.
