GOOD JOB SPELLING OUT THE JOKE THAT EVERYONE ALREADY KNOWS. YOU MUST BE SO PROUD.

No, Wallet Inspector's right. There's something deeply wrong with Starshine's soul or brain chemistry or whatever.

The problem with the Gatsby game…
…is it's too good: it's meant to be a third-string NES game, so where is the sprite flicker and questionable collision detection? I ask you!

I wouldn't have been sure whether it was consciously meant as a joke if he hadn't pointed it out.

I had never heard of this 'til now…
…but grade notwithstanding, this review makes it sound awesome—seriously, "a kaleidoscopic underground world involving Communist revolutionaries, Growler missiles, a train held hostage, and attempts to criminalize golf?" How is that not Pynchonian in the best way possible?

The Jerry-abuse is the one thing I can't stand about this show. It's incredibly jarring to have otherwise likable characters abruptly and repeatedly turn momentarily into sociopaths for no apparent reason.

Whaddaya know—I just checked the list I made a while back, and it turns out that Alice is MY sixth-favorite Disney feature as well. What do you have for one through five? For me, it's Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, One Hundred and One Dalmatians, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and The Three Caballeros.

I want to go on record as stating that Merryweather is a great character who enlivens every scene she's in. But beyond that, I agree with the general consensus; there's not much to recommend the movie—sure, the dragon fight's okay, I guess, but it's only like a minute long. Not a lot to it.

The Handsome Family's Through the Trees came out in 1998. Also, Manic Street Preachers' This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours, their last good album.

Ha ha, you badly misspelled "monocle."

Dude!
I was friends with one of the guys in this band, Seth Olinsky, when we were kids. I used to go to his house and we would have loud, violent arguments about what superpowers his GI Joe action figures did and did not have and then his mom had to separate us. The more you know!

COMMERCIALS HAVE NO AFFECT ON ANYONE AND NO CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE WHATSOEVER SO NOBODY SHOULD EVER TALK ABOUT THEM.

Dude, the film's good, but it's VERY limited—how much more-of-the-same of that would you have actually wanted to WATCH? And if the answer is "a lot more," then WHY?

I liked Community okay until I stopped watching it after realizing that I didn't feel any particular need to watch it, but I find the zealotry it inspires a tiny bit baffling. Most of the characters are okay if very broadly drawn, but good lord that show is cutesily self-aware to the point that it sort of makes me

Cogent point. Nothing sucks unless I personally have already done it better.

Agreed. Time to form an angry pitchfork-wielding mob.

I feel like that first paragraph is trying to say something, but the fact that it's complete gibberish is holding it back. Dammit!

Yeah, but if he were the same as he was in prior games, would've been exactly like Apollo (which I suppose is STILL something of an indictment of the game).

I've met a fair few bullies. I wouldn't describe any of them as particularly "smart."
