Somebody is getting his or her allusions crossed.

The problem is, Chu-Chu crucifixion is the ONLY good thing about Xenogears. Alas. Okay, and the music. But that is ALL.

The problem with that is, people still remember Spirits Within and Advent Children. Trying to market another product along those lines is NOT gonna be easy.

Can I assume that you FAILED to beat either of them?

God I want Thunder Wool so badly.
Goddamn.

I don't think I would like this game.
Then again, that's nothing new.

Boondocks the comic was funny for a year or two.
Then McGruder got lazy as fuck and started thinking he was some sort of deep political thinker and it started sucking. Then there was that shitty cartoon (yeah, I know, some people disagree—why do you expect me to waste my time arguing with wrong people?). And that

I was wondering the same thing.

My favorite is still the animated Disney version from the fifties. I know it doesn't hew to the books particularly, but I don't care—it's just some damned cool animation.

Hmm—strange. I just assumed it was an ammo thing (because what else would it have been?) but I don't know that I actually verified this. I too am a Mac-user, so maybe it IS a system thing.

I think the "not firing when you click" thing is due to it being out of ammo and needing a few moments to reload.

The boss was hard a few tries. And then I beat it completely effortlessly. So it goes.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.
This is the best feature on the AVClub. I found last week's crop kind of underwhelming (not enough flash games, for one thing), but this entry more than makes up for it. Keep up the good work.

Have you considered that perhaps nobody cares whether YOU care whether they're no longer watching a TV show? Because that, to me, seems extremely probable.

Was she just absent…or was it MURDER?!?

Cute list.
The Westboro Baptist thing is a nice touch. I don't understand the implication that left-wingers are fans of scientology, though.

Michael Krebs!
He was in CSPAN's Lincoln-Douglas debate reenactments. And now he's in this. So it goes.

I'm not convinced from this that "midnight movie" actually MEANS anything.
Seems pretty darned arbitrary to me.

I'd like to get my hands on that game!

I can't believe there's only five of them.
Really—how paltry.
