…and in any case, you would have noticed if you had read the thread that I settled for "incredibly unethical." I don't know the ins and outs of every school, obviously.

You can't "believe" it? Have you checked that increasingly-popular tool called "the internet" lately?
Incredibly good.
I've been watching this show mostly out of inertia for a while lately, but this episode was just plain excellent. Heavily character-based and just generally well-done. Pairing Pam with Andy was a great idea, and I loved the way Andy was given a human side. He and Erin—how about it? I think those…
I would say that the power dynamics involved make it almost certainly exploitative, and the notion that it would be possible to fairly grade someone you're sleeping with is just absurd. Illegal? Maybe not; I don't know all the ins and outs. Unbelievably scummy? Certainly.
"A personal policy about not dating students?"
Um, wouldn't that be a university-enforced policy? That's what it is where *I* teach, anyway. Not that people don't get away with some pretty outrageous shit, but it just seems odd to me to frame it as some sort of personal idiosyncrasy as opposed to something that…
"In order to think like one of these guys, you have to *think* like them."
Great episode. I found Louis CK especially hilarious with his subdued, vaguely embarrassed efforts to tone down Leslie's rage.
I saw the movie…
…because a friend of mine inexplicably wanted to see it. I wasn't expecting great things, but it was actually quite extraordinary how utterly weightless it was. I can't say I *disliked* it per se, because I can't say I felt anything whatsoever about it. There were images and sounds on the screen…
ALL THE BAKUGAN IN THE WORLD?!?
Diabolical!
Actually, I don't really have a strong opinion about this one.
Can I have your autograph?
I think you are one of the AVclub's greatest thinkers.
The point is, you made an insightful point, and I respect you for it.
But let's not get off-track.
I'm not sure I am.
Am I making myself clear?
Seriously, any taint of "youness" is enough to make me hate a person.
Like, you know them well enough that you friended them on facebook, and that's about it.
And people you've only been peripherally introduced to.
Also your friends.
Not just you, but your entire family.
