Some hardcore fans even consider it a sequel of sorts to Lovesexy, which I don't necessarily disagree

The first two albums are probably better than you expect. For You, especially, has amazing guitar sounds. Some real 70s studio rock sounds, but on a disco record. Quality.

Agreed. I think Conan's gotten unwatchable.

Yeah, they weren't afraid to occasionally break the fourth wall or do meta in-jokes, which I definitely admire in a show. But it also wasn't an every-episode thing either, like Larry Sanders or Scrubs. Just peppered in for effect.
