Does anyone else find themselves cheering for the male characters instead of the females? I was almost genuinely glad Adam was moving on while Hannah was sinking…is the show trying to make that point? Is it just branching out with these characters? More thoughts:http://www.smartgirlbadtv.c…

This was just kind of a run of the mill New Girl episode - coming down after 3 excellent ones and before they start building to the season finale…still…it's just lovely feel good comedic television. See more here: http://www.smartgirlbadtv.c…

I agree in that i'm incredibly frustrated by the way this season has deadened (pun intended) Elena as a character. The sire bond, the inability to make her own decisions, the salvatore brother's need to fix everything for her…it takes away from the show. I too support the burning of the Gilbert house…Elena is moving

The thing about all the negativity is that while it's true to life, it's getting exhausting to watch. I usually applaud Lena Dunham for her portrayal of characters that are sometimes awful, and struggling with all the things that make being 23 terrible but…the show has almost stopped being enjoyable. I don't even look

I agreed - I thought this episode was an unbelievable piece of short fiction - very Mary Gaitskill…but I see the other side. It could be a masturbatory fantasy of Dunham, and knowing how much control she has over the show - could feel like her just forcing patrick wilson to make out with her (because there is no way

Before I even read the rest of this post, the first line made me laugh out loud. I'm so glad someone else watched this episode and went what the hell. See my thoughts here on why this episode just seemed to get out of control.http://www.smartgirlbadtv.com/?p=259

I'd like to vote for this as best comment.

This episode was definitely better than last week's. To me the Jessa storyline brought it home (surprisingly, because she's usually my least favorite character) and reminded me that the show still has a lot to say - even as Hannah becomes a pretty terrible character to watch. This was an excellent Stefan episode and a not so great episode for everyone else. This season, more than the others, I'm excited about the action taking place and not just what it will do for the character relationships. I genuinely am excited to see if they find the cure, and how they handle all of that in typical

As an admittedly full on Jess/Nick shipper, it was hard not to be gleeful about this episode…but so much of the success of this plot line is owed to Jake Johnson. It's been awesome to watch and I hope the show can keep it going. I explain more here: http://www.smartgirlbadtv.c…

I wasn't a fan of the Penny/Pete proposal - it felt so out of nowhere and sudden. I had the reverse opinion, I thought My Best Friend's Wedding was the much stronger episode of the two. I explain more about why in my review: http://www.smartgirlbadtv.c…

I agree, I thought this episode was very weak, especially in comparison to the rest of the season thus far. But I did think it brought up an interesting point about Girls as performance art - can you still appreciate the beauty of it, even if you hate the characters, or their decisions, and stop being able to relate?

I completely agree that what this episode excelled at was demonstrating how stunted these characters really are - they have vague concepts of politics and interpersonal relationships, without much at all to back them up. Jessa's comment about "just read a newspaper. Any one. Just one of them" was spot on to a lot of

I had so many similar thoughts about this episode! The "lets trap everyone and make them reveal secrets" didn't work as well here as it has in other shows, and I spent a lot of the episode bored by the catch up. I also really want someone to explain WHY we have to cure Elena. Check out the rest of my thoughts: http://w

I complete agree, I thought this episode handling female bi-sexuality in one of the best ways I've seen network TV take on. Read the rest of my thoughts at: http://www.smartgirlbadtv.c…

I still just feel like this show has gotten out of control, and a little too…meta?…for my taste. Check out my thoughts at www.smartgirlbadtv.com
