Whenever I think of the Bootstrap paradox, the first thing I think of is Michael Moorecock's Behold The Man but they couldn't reference that on a family show like Doctor Who.

When I lived in Minneapolis, there were at least a dozen Miike movies circulating through the library system. Minneapolis has a particularly good library system though, don't know if your town compares, worth a look though.
