Totally agree. That was really disappointing.

To be honest, man, it could just be that in an otherwise struggling season, this episode (which is definitely a call back to better SP days) made me nostalgic. It's hard to tell anymore.

But that's my point. When they don't have to do a quick turnaround, an episode like this one happens and the entire season gets a little better.

yep. it was pretty overt

I know the SP quick turnaround is a subject that has been beaten to death, but it's encouraging to see what Trey and Matt can put forth when they allow themselves some time in creating an episode. I wish they would take that tact more often. Of course, I'm making the assumption that the multi-part eps. are done

All this grenade talk makes me miss Lem.

Laughed out loud at the funk sketch, for Key's hair alone. And come on…Tom Hanks's penis got a shout out. A-

Good point. I think it's just a combination of impatience on my part and a hope that the show will be given the time it deserves to develop.

The way Holt turned on the suave to get Santiago to spill her inside info. on Peralta…all in the eyes, man. All in the eyes.

Laughed throughout. Really dug it on that level. And yet…still can't help feeling a lack of connection to the characters, like they're just painted too broadly. Or maybe the show just is what it is, and I can definitely enjoy it for that. But I kinda want to know these guys. It's almost weirdly frustrating in a

Do you know what the word "provincial" means? I didn't think so.

Yeah, it wasn't great. But I appreciated the homage to "Three O'Clock High." Thanks, 1987.

Precisely the moment, huh? I figure the douchebag moment comes when you don't allow people their own opinions and then get overly-defensive when their thoughts don't exactly line up with yours. You're suspect.

I definitely had that sad moment during this episode where I felt like jumping ship for good. This season as a whole has been depressingly bad.

To each their own, but yeah, i have to agree — i thought this episode was weak.

B+ is generous. Kind of a come down episode after the stellar Halloween sketches. The first two tonight were pretty weak. Or maybe I was just in a rancid mood after that god awful South Park.

"Garcon, one admission for the continental breakfast."

Continental breakfast sketch was perfection.

Buzzkillington.
