My usual technique is to put a bottle of wine in the freezer, crack open a really good beer, have like six or seven more, then forget about it because by then I don’t really want wine anymore.

It’s a little carb-heavy, but I have a fuckin’ awesome beer bottle cap collection.

Before tackling Gravity’s or V and the like, get your first taste of Pynchon with The Crying of Lot 49. It’s my favorite Pynchon, if only for the inspired parody of a Jacobean Revenge Drama.

Good luck to you, Russell! After my divorce when I auctioned off my possessions- lawn mower missing a wheel, blade-less blender, an ‘88 Taurus with punctured gas tank, nearly-complete set Police Academy posters, etc. I got money for a night in Vegas which I actually had to send on bail as I got pulled over on my way

In Marilyn Manson’s defense, it wasn’t great at the time, either.

...off of a killer album. That album seriously melts my face off.

The Libertines’ “Up the Bracket” is goddamn joyful. I love that album. Also, “You Forgot it in People” is perfect, from beginning to end.

It made my day to see “To Hell With Good Intentions” on here. Absolutely killer song.

Troy McClure fans, eh?

Psychocandy gets all the hype, but I’ll always like Darklands more.
