Alex Raymond is the bomb.

It's a continuous story but probably not too hard to get up to speed on. It's only up to issue #8, at least in floppies.

Maybe that's the emotional effect they were going for.

I've been enjoying DC Bombshells, Gotham Academy, and Superman: American Alien. Oh, and Prez, but I can't figure out if that's really on hiatus or cancelled.

if he couldn't stand one more election cycle

Rich people are known for their impeccable honesty. It's how you get ahead in the business world.

April was super annoying and she talked exactly like Lorelai and Rori, which for me had a kind of spillover effect, and made them irritating.

re: rawness, I actually prefer 4-Track Demos to either Dry or Rid of Me

I totally love both, but I can also see how some people don't.

In Byrne's FF, Doom was really interesting because he was a very plausible dictator … convinced that he was doing the right thing, and actually doing some good for Latveria, yet still an evil megalomaniac who ruthlessly crushed all dissent. (And was weirdly obsessed with killing Reed Richards, but hey.)

Maybe, but they said the same thing about comic books.

"A female lead, but I can't see her butt? Boring!"

Monstress is gorgeous.

Wow … I'm pretty sure that I saw this as a kid, in a double feature with Fantastic Voyage. I never knew the title!

What is Double Kennedy on the Sacagawea?

Yeah - that's spot on. It seemed to stall for a couple of issues although always nice to look at.

Magic in a superhero universe is odd because it's just another power, in a world filled with alien artifacts, super advanced tech, mutants, other dimensions, etc etc. So it kind of loses the "magical" aspect of magic.

Superman: American Alien #3 - I'm really enjoying this series. So far it's very much about Clark Kent, more than Superman.

I'm inclined to like anything that looks like it takes place on the Nostromo.
