That's fine just as soon as nobody is fighting in the courts against same-sex civil marriage.
But that's no different than the "Brill Building" model that brought us all the great '60s girl groups. I mean, I appreciate authenticity and the singer-songwriter approach, but it's not the only way that great pop music gets made.

I call a halt to all coming-of-age stories. Also love stories, and stories where people overcome obstacles or personal tragedies. Also, stories where a detective solves a mystery in order to catch a murderer.

I have to confess, with Miles I'm too busy thinking "How could one guy record Birth of the Cool, Kind of Blue, Miles Smiles, In A Silent Way, *and* On the Corner? That's insane." Of course, he had incredible collaborators.
