What @Miller said.

Got to do, inter alia: King Lear, Othello, Marlowe's Edward II, Mrs Dalloway, T.S. Eliot and Larkin. So came out of it pretty well overall.

Yep, Tintern Abbey was one I did. And Daffodils.

I really should get around to it. November and December are a pretty busy period for me (hence I'm not posting here during the day any more) but January should be better.

I finally caught up on the fifth episode of Masters of Sex. Thanks for the warning; even knowing what to expect I found it pretty difficult viewing, though alleviated somewhat by Bumpy choosing Libby's miscarriage as the point to start repeatedly punching The Lady McLurk in the cervix.

Neither have I. It's on my list for next year.

I studied Wordsworth as part of my A-Level English Lit.

I love Wolf Hall. Read it a few months ago and it's far and away my favourite book of the year.

Basically it takes about 50 pages or so to get used to the way in which the word "he" refers to the main character unless the context makes it absolutely clear it's someone else.

Huzzah! Glad things are on the up.

LinkedIn would actually fit in really well with the Cardassian Security state. It's registered with my personal email account rather than my work one, so how does it know that I've worked with so many of the people it suggests I link with?

This exactly. I enjoy this episode for what it is, but it doesn't make a lick of sense.

I'm actually finding the loss of the alt-text to be the single blurst thing of the redesign. Loss of functionality is annoying, but this is actual content disappearing into the ether.

And he'd be right.

Ok, so the answer is that I still can't log in at work. Think it's some sort of compatability problem with whatever version of Explorer we use at work. I'd install Chrome, but IT don't tend to approve of that.

Hey, I've managed to log in as me again!

THIS.

I was at a Scottish wedding recently.

I thought it might be, just from the one line summary at the top of the review here. Thank you though; this is the kind of oblique spoiler I can get behind.

I am up to the fourth episode of Masters of Sex.
I will share my opinions on it in due course.
