Into town for The Book of Mormon. Obviously it's very funny, but you knew that already. I was struck by how it was oddly quite profound in its tribute to the power of mythic storytelling to improve people's lives. Same sort of themes as South Park's "Imaginationland" trilogy, which is among my favourite bits of SP.

I got a bukkake notification for this?

Ok, so I wanted to wait until there were fewer people around and could bury this unnoticed in the middle of the TI comments.

Good enough reason for me.

And was the holy Lamb of God
On England's pleasant pastures seen.

Something something Wesley Crusher.

Spoilers, old chap.

Dax and The Attendant.

According to Memory Alpha, Nana Visitor dislikes this episode and disliked making it. Mainly on the basis that it's stupid.

On a slightly related point, might I recommend Iain M. Banks' Culture series. Because he is quite interested in the social aspects of a post-scarcity technological utopia and how it might act to give itself - and its members - a purpose for existence.

I'm up to the end of season 1 of Game of Thrones. If any one of you fuckers uses this as an opportunity to spoil me then so help me…

I liked that it was Shelby and Morn both doing the hungover walk of shame from Dax's apartment.

Might want to put a ^SPOILER^ warning on that, Sport.

"The Odo/Kira story moves forward in a small, but satisfying, way."

It is Chloe which is on the shortlist.

Calling her Lurkina McLurk just seems silly.

Hey, I just want to say thank you for coming up with the name The Lady McLurk for my wife. I'm totally going with that.

Yuuuup.

@avclub-6beb5f589a9fd04c21fcd50db3d9c80c:disqus - you stand on the tire iron when you're tightening it back up too. It's what I did.
