I'm giving credit to the quality of the trolling. Antagonising us with exaggeterated (sic) record scratch sound effects is pretty sophisticated, especially for a herbivorous mollusc.

Just going to add that I'm the same. Started on Farscape because so many commenters on the DS9 reviews kept going on about it, lost interest over the course of the first half season, picked up where I left off when these reviews got to it and haven't looked back.

Well, I'm only about an episode ahead (I try to keep a couple or so ahead of the reviews in case I end up missing a week).

Ok, vacillated on posting this in case it seems stalkerish, but here goes:

A couple of weeks ago when you mentioned welling up at Aeryn taking Pilot's claw in her hand, I'd just watched this episode. Thought about warning you to buy extra kleenex for this one. But didn't, because spoilers.

I really quite enjoyed this. In particular, "The shitty indie music that's been playing in the background comes to an abrubt halt with an exaggeterated RECORD SCRATCH sound effect." was a nice touch.

I went to see The Wildhearts at the London gig of their "Earth Vs. The Wildhearts" 20th Anniversary tour.

Ha! IUPAC went with us on Aluminium. We had to give up the spelling of sulphur in return, but that's not so bad.

On a slightly related note, it doesn't happen often but whenever a character in Game of Thrones, in a British accent, says "could care less", my brain erupts.
