@avclub-cd3d804747cf4c11f495534083caf222:disqus that's a superb quote. The best I came up with, even retrospectively, was "In another, more accurate way, "Recorder" is his title rather than his name".

The "shot by a tribble" story deserves a link

Utterly horrified no doubt, but mixed with a slight twinge of pride.

It's ok. A stairwell nonce-bashing will leave them quadraspazzed on a life-plug.

Are we still doing these?

Sorry.

Me too. I'm not even joking, I only realised it didn't say that when you drew attention to it.

Swamped at work, so I was planning on picking this up with @avclub-bd847fd835b2c6025557898b6aff7b2d:disqus again in the review later this week. When there'll be more of an audience.

@avclub-d980b15d49101608dc407770f35b1d75:disqus We don't even have Virgin Megastores in Britain any more. They got bought out by a chain called Zavvi. Which promptly went bust.

Probably my favourite episode. And I love the idea that, along with all the season end eps of Buffy, it was written so that it could be a series finale if they didn't get renewed. This isn't a crack at seasons 5 to 7, but I love the idea of the series ending with an episode all about the characters' subconscious

Yup. First episode of Season 4 has Garak and Quark contemplating how root beer represents the insidious nature of the Federation.

@Prankster36:disqus  That's a good point. "Competency zone" if you prefer. Still can't fault it for ambition.
@avclub-945ba977c27d196cdeaf6cbe4ff682f4:disqus I suspect that in another age I'd have died leading a cavalry charge into a volcano.

Does it involve a little wave?

Woohoo. Free holiday!

Clearly Minbari culture doesn't feel as though it has to use humour to deal with a pervading sense of hopelessness and inadequacy.

You say that, but I rewatched Let He Who Is Without Sin recently and, though it's clearly not a good episode (dear god, if any episode ever needed a B-story) it does have some worthwhile moments:
"Do not hug me."
The callback to the alien who Jadzia dated a couple of seasons earlier who Kira

This pub band I saw a few weeks ago did a mash up of Play That Funky Music, Superstition, Fresh Prince of Bel Air and the Benny Hill Theme.

Give it some credit - it knew to reject B5 S1 discs.
