I think of Angel S5 in the same way as Buffy S4. I really enjoy both seasons, but that's mainly on the basis of really strong, inventive single episodes, rather than the narrative as a whole.

Much as though I love S5 Angel (and jakenderek you should definitely watch it) I do have a couple of reservations. Themes and character stuff are great, but I can't help but feel that with the plot structure they got to only a few eps from the end before deciding that they'd better do something to wrap it all up.

Yeah, that was a good gig. Where did you see them? I was in London for (I think) their only UK gig of the tour. It was on 4th July and they had lots of fun baiting the crowd by throwing teabags at us.

I once went to an SOD gig where Billy Milano introduced Scott Ian as "The Rabbi of Destruction." Which was nice.

That might be because of B5's terrible (to the modern viewer) production values.
