What Would Jack Burton Do

I'm a staunch defender of that album.  I got it toward the end of my time in college, when I was mainly internet-free and much happier.  So I had no idea the general consensus was that it was their "bad" album.  I listened to the shit out of it when I first got it, and I still adore it.  So imagine my surprise a few

Yep, that's a great point.  I actually cleaned my place after I typed that, and I had "Hello Nasty" playing while I did.  It's impossible for me not to belt out "NOTHING SOUNDS QUITE LIKE AN 8-0-8" and smile when I hear "Super Disco Breakin'".  There have been plenty of artist I've liked who I couldn't take listening

Strong men also cry, teadoust.  Strong men also cry.

If you get a chance, look up "Beastie Boys Chappelle Show" on Youtube.  They performed "The New Style" for the aborted third season, and Neal Brennan put it up.  Viacom, cocksuckers they are, took it down. But it's the internet, so it's been popping up in some other form every day since.

Jesus Christ, thank you.

This one really, really hurts.  I don't even know what else to say right now.

@avclub-ef47f964f26ee487d5bdb8ed96d5984f:disqus "Audition" really is a fantastic movie, but understandably not for everyone.  Though it's fun to own just to spring on unsuspecting friends, without telling them what you're about to watch, if only to see their reaction when the film does a complete 180 halfway in.

Though to be honest, the violent scenes in "Audition" made me squirm way worse than anything that happened in this one, mainly because of the sense of humor this one has going the whole time.

The only way this movie could get any more violent is if it crawled out of your TV and beat the fuck out of you while you watched it.

As a long-suffering Browns fan, I can assure you he's no longer with Oklahoma State.  Now, I have to go back to drinking myself to death.

Yeah, I was really against remaking Oldboy when it was first announced ages ago, but that changed once Lee became attached to direct.  I still think it's a bad idea, but I'll actually watch it, which I couldn't say before he became involved.

Nope, you aren't alone.  It wasn't supposed to be Oscar-bait.  It was supposed a really fun, enjoyable action film, and it totally succeeded.

How hasn't anyone mentioned how hilarious that fucking picture is?

I'm an ideas man, Michael.  I think I proved that with Fuck Mountain.

Yeah, let me chime in and give props to Steven for such a nice obituary.  The AV Club staff is really great at writing these, as terrible as they can be to have to read.

Yeah, he was in so much stuff I loved growing up.  I'm good at separating "art/artist", but I recently watched "Road Warrior" and I realized he's really testing that.

No shit?  I didn't even notice that, but that is awesome!

Bravo on the picture choice, O'Neal.
