Thank you for taking the time to answer and for being so polite in the face of my epic tantrum.

Man, I don't know… it all seems rather a clusterfuck ultimately and very ill thought out.

Bad news Rhodey - they've pulled the plug. IF the reviews come back it won't be until next summer.

yeah - no shit sherlock der werff - that'll be because the reviews were a bunch of ARSE!

Just for you & Jarira then:

Well fuck that and the horse it rode in on.

*makes noise of disgust*

I'm afraid that this is all I know of Sims' writing so I've no history with him or any particular patience or loyalty! But since so many others speak highly of him I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

I take it we're having a week off before launching into Season 4?

Hey Rhodey, sorry for the delay in responding - I had to go back through old reviews/comments to find the reference and it was further back than I'd remembered!

Yay! Glad you enjoyed it! Great soundtrack (including ACTUAL, GENUINE OMD playing at the prom!), funky costuming (aside from Andie's prom dress) and a fabulous cast.

Talking of terrible wigs - Matt Smith's hairpiece in the trailer for Day of the Doctor is just not good enough!

S6? Wow - I was way off - must rewatch harder!

Chaney was Leni's first pick to be in The Man Who Laughs (1928) but Conrad Veidt ended up playing the part of Gwynplaine.

It's also very worth watching one of the films Mr. Zombie mentions: The Man Who Laughs (1928). Conrad Veidt's character Gwynplaine is one of the inspirations for a certain DC Comics bad guy…

I also recommend Spione [Spies] (1928), the film Lang made after Metropolis. It's spy thriller with great action, comedy and suspense. Seriously good.

Stoltz - can't edit this far down the reply chain apparently…

He's a fuckwit Mytly - ignore him!

Sebastian Bach is part of one of my most favourite GG moments ever - but I think it's S5 rather than S4? When he sings Hollaback Girl at the Bat Mitzvah. Brilliant.

I had blissfully wiped that one from my memory!
