Actual LOLs

Oh man! Why couldn't Andie just wear Iona's dress instead of creating that monstrosity?!

Meredith Borders is doing a GG rewatch over on YAForever - apologies if it was you who directed us all over there in the first place! - she's really great but I have to laugh at how horrified she is by some of Lorelai's clothes. I dressed like that at the time. I STILL dress like Lorelai!

More Random Observations:

*much laughter* I think I pissed someone off last week - it's cool, nae bother!

It's a masterpiece of steadicam choreography and is quite lovely. I can see why they cut it, it doesn't quite fit with the tone of the episode as a whole and young Lorelai is a tad too stilted, but I'm very glad we get to see it.

*sad face*
*shrug*
*middle finger to the downvoter!*

Yeah, I really liked that too. I could do without the clowns but I liked the warmth of the yellow walls and all the crazy frames and wee mirrors everywhere. There's a reason that half of my online name is the word 'eclectic'!

Agreed.

I like Sasha, but then I think I'm predisposed to like Sherilyn Fenn.

There were indeed a whole lot of dogs but she does clear two - very docile - cats off of a table when Jess first comes in the house.

I mostly know it from Pretty in Pink, it plays during the scene where Iona (Annie Potts) reminisces about her own prom.

Excellent!

Gilmores in Colour!

I'm with Sims - S4 is great, probably my favourite season too.

We do try - honestly - I asked someone to add a spoiler tag just last week!

Wah!!!!!!

It's not my favourite but I've heard others speak highly of it… to each their own, plenty of great Keaton to go around.

I think maybe Lauren Graham could've pulled off that whole - interminable - 'horse of a different colour' speech but only just. That's PHD level ASP dialogue there - you don't spring that on a newbie!

Sneak preview of my opinion: it's less irritating than when Hart Hanson shoehorned a pilot for short lived dramedy The Finder into an episode of Bones, but only marginally.
