Yes, I think you're right. It happens after the turndown service thing with Luke and Nicole doesn't it? So she's all of a whatsit after seeing Luke in his stockinged feet kicking back on an Independence Inn bed. She's looking for validation.

We actually did, funnily enough. It was just a wee boat that went up and down (or down and up maybe…?) the Thames. About a week later the Marchioness happened which - rightly - put an end to the party boat industry and its shoddy safety record.
Apologies for not acknowledging your avatar and name earlier btw - it's good to see an old school companion (assistant?!) on the AV Club!
That's a brilliant one, you'd think maybe Lauren Graham or Scott Patterson would've pointed that out to someone…
Partly 'liked' for the Doctor Who reference. My avatar is my cupcake tribute to Scaroth from City of Death btw. It should be green, of course, but we only had blue icing.
Wow, way to simplify fairly complex goings on at the end of S6.
The show - and the writers - has/have taken a bit of stick from us all just recently about the way the female 'rivals' (other than Rachel) are portrayed - with Nicole and Lindsay rendered unlikable from the get go.
And how on earth did the Hummel get broken - it was bubble-wrapped and boxed up last time we saw it!
I'm fairly pro-Logan personally but what I've gathered from the anti-Logan lobby would indicate that they're not overly fond of the way Rory is around him.
Sookie gets the lowdown on him while they're all still in the church, he's definitely the lawyer - Fran had no direct descendants.
The other problem is that Kyle's front yard doesn't look anywhere near as messed up when Jess and Dean leave the party as it does the next morning. Did the crew at WB consult itself at all?
I was never particularly invested in Rory's relationship with Jess but I do find that last scene on the bus utterly heartbreaking.
Gilmores in Colour!
I can't really get my head 'round it either - normally I'd be all Lorelai appologist about it but I can't for the life of me find an excuse for her behaviour. It's not even funny!
I didn't buy him as Jess' dad partly because Milo Ventimiglia so clearly has mediterranean blood in his make-up and whatsisface is the same kind of square-jawed northern European type as Scott Patterson.
I think that's one of the best timed gags in the whole show.
And Ben Falcone (yes, Melissa McCarthy's husband) plays Mr. Brink - Fran Weston's lawyer, not her son.
Yup, that is a fuck-up of Gothic proportions!
Mostly guilt actually. My relationship with my mother is similar to that of Lorelai and Emily. I left the UK and moved to the US and sometimes 3000 miles away is still not far enough.
Except that he hasn't gotten around to it - he's still not interacting with us!
