That makes sense from the performance, she doesn't look in the least bit comfy saying it!

That conversation took place before Lorelai had decided to say yes. If you're going to piss all over the show, at least get your facts right.
@CompanyWhippingBoy:disqus CWB! We've missed you, good to see you back.
Hands all the awards to @avclub-9e0b6a08580086d99065b19a22ba8da1:disqus for extraordinary powers of

I had to fast forward again - I can't deal with petty bitchery & nastiness.

Gilmore Girls really is the Classical Greek theatre of hour-long tv serials isn't it.

That's really interesting - it was a particularly blank stare in the 6th episode (during Jack's wake) that first had me wondering about Joe. My second clue was the resemblance between Joe and Nige and the clincher was the dramatic irony of Ellie's line to Susan Wright.
British seaside communities still have a little of the pagan about them; they're so dependent on the good graces of Mother Nature. Padstow, Cornwall's 'Obby 'Oss event for example.
*murmers conspiratorially* Boxleitner's back on the market - Ms Gilbert is now married to Timothy Busfield.
@avclub-a7894649f023b61a850c178d9870aee1:disqus Boxleitner & Furlan had chemistry. It wasn't the crazily intense dropping rubidium in water type of chemistry (like Farscape's Browder & Black for example) but it was there - fizzing away in a dignified manner, more like lithium in water.
Gotta add my tuppence worth to the long list of people saying "WATCH IT!"
Both!
That's great - I was definitely aiming for tingly scalp!
@avclub-6fe1e85f49aff7aaf3710a9707135ef8:disqus 'liked' for "insufferable harpies" or at least I *would* like it if disqus was working properly.
No lynching here. Digger has a face like a smacked arse and the personality to match.
Not just you. Disqus is frelled. Consider all your posts 'liked' too!
Marion Ross as Trix is one of my favourite bits of casting in this whole show. She gets to be so unrelentingly bitchy. That scene is a classic and it must've been quite some feat to choreograph five actors plus the camera operator, focus puller, boom operator and cable wranglers in that tiny, wee set!
