I like S4.  But then I can just about endure roughly 2/3rd of S7 too (and quite like Logan!) so perhaps I'm merely weird.

Yeah, I fast forwarded through the Francie stuff again.

Right there with you Mytly.  I'm checking out of the window here to make sure that there's not four fellas on horses ushering in the apocalypse; I too agree with our reviewer.

Whatever the event is where Paul Anka is the Doggy Swammi - I like that one.  The Festival of Living Art kicks all kinds of butt though.

*slaps forehead*  Sorry @avclub-0840875a9da6f24c4e0fc883b399d93a:disqus !  I see what you mean.  Having just googled the phrase "four in four" and come up empty, I think it's an ASPism

Gilmores in Colour!

I don't know what the original fan reaction was to Rachel back in the day but I wonder whether all the subsequent - female - romantic rivals for Lorelai & Rory are pretty much written as unlikeable straight-out-of-the-gate because nobody liked Rachel anyway?

It's possible but very tricky if you intend to nurse your newborns/infants for any length of time… or at all come to think of it.

Change for Lorelai too - she's come round to the idea of Jess, Luke is actually kicking harder against it than she is, and both she and Rory are reading the Yale booklet at the end of the episode.

Agreed on all points.  Particularly Bledel's acting - there are a couple of line deliveries that just slay me (to Luke in the diner re: Kirk's trophy "every year" and the "dirty" to Lorelai re: the New Haven meaty tacos).

I too have often wondered where Luke and Lorelai are during the big showdown on the dancefloor given that - just moments earlier - he was fixing her shoe and they were talking about babies…

I'm afraid the return of DS9 is of no consolation; Trek is just not my bag, man.  No hate - just… not my bag.

Damn right!  Is this enough 'clicks' for you AV Club?!

D'awww  *shuffles feet awkwardly in a very British-person-accepting-a-compliment way*

Froonium Ricky shows up every now and then and comments on Tor.com's Farscape rewatch and I've seen him comment on Alasdair's rewatch here too.  At least - I presume he's the real thing?

I am not a gamer by any stretch of the imagination (piss poor hand eye coordination, occasional motion sickness with swooping POVs, no time or patience to get good enough) in fact the only ones I play these days are TT's Lego games (which I find highly amusing and so do my kids).

@avclub-81f1e2cb3513ac18c77dd0159ec182c3:disqus As an 'old worlder' living here in the US…  Oh Dear God it drives me up the bloody wall.

It might be a smidgin too late but if you can get yourself audience passes for Conan (which tapes at Warner Bros) or Craig Ferguson (CBS Television City) then that's an absolute hoot.  Craig particularly likes to 'highlight' international visitors.

Hey?!  Who said anything about squid?  Is this fella getting Vorlons mixed up with Daleks?
