It took me waaaaay to long to get this. *smacks forehead*

I'd be willing to fling myself in front of Charlie Hunnam to prevent him from screwing up his career in this piece of nonsense!
She's no East Side Tilly that's for damn sure. I tell ya - location, location, location!
*much laughter*
It could also be something to do with the fact that this the only time Justin Tanner stepped away from his story editor role on GGs to actually write for the show.
Yes!
Much as I - personally - love Lorelai I'm willing to run with your interpretation except that it's not all from her perspective. We are omnicient, floating above Stars Hollow and its inhabitants… so where's the judgement coming from?
I love the stuff with Luke talking about the parent's group and 'choo choo Joe' - it's another example of him paying close attention, almost despite himself!
Are the scripts published anywhere? I'll have to check if there are subtitles on the dvd… back in a mo…
@Roswulf:disqus Wow, I didn't realise there was an 'anti-Sims faction' just a bunch of people who are slightly fed up with overwhelmingly negative reviews from someone who doesn't care in the least what we have to say on the subject.
I don't make the noise of squealing brakes so much but I do admit to yelling 'wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!' when I drive down a big hill.
What's interesting about Luke's reaction to the breastfeeding is that - as originally written in the pilot - he's kind of a granola-esque, health food, environment type guy so you'd think that he'd be all for the right-on, natural beauty that is nursing. But I guess that ethos clashes rather with his anti 'jam hands'…
I wouldn't go so far as to say 'like' - more like 'tolerated'… But following his crack at the British, he and his 'Minute Men' (*childish snigger*) can go take a running jump.
I've no idea - contemporary gender neutral clothes for newborns rely heavily on yellow and green - mostly yellow. Though blue for boys & pink for girls is a fairly recent thing anyway - take it Mr. Straight Dope.
It really does seem to be all about Rory's love life for our reviewer doesn't it?
"The other main plot of “Eight O’Clock At The Oasis” involves a new whackjob who’s moved next to Lorelai and Rory… …especially weird since this guy never appears again despite being a bundle of character quirks."
Gilmores in Colour and other costume & set dressing comments…
"No one likes the British. Or buses."
