Is it just me or did some of the sweetness Chad had during season 4 nullified by her actions in this episode?

I have great respect for her as a philosopher. However she was a HORRIBLE novelist. Novels should not have characters go into 50 page fillabusters. The characters are so unlikable and self absorbed and calling the majority of your audience a parasite because they aren't captains of industry is insulting.
