I recently retrieved all my old comics from my mom's house. Apparently I have all 12 issues of NFL SuperPro, I'll probably have more fun reading those instead.

Seven years old is a perfectly fine age to see this. My dad took me to see Goodfellas when I was eight, and I had no trouble sitting through it without fidgeting. Although, I was probably more annoying in the subsequent months when I would mimic all of Joe Pesci's best curses at the most inappropriate times.

I'd like to say I almost had him. With 28 seconds left he was leading 23-22 and it looked like I might be able to nick a win, but he went on a tear and beat me 41-22.

Today would have been my father's 70th birthday; his favorite actor was Peter O'Toole and his favorite movie was My Favorite Year. I think I’ll watch that tonight to commemorate two of my favorite drunken raconteurs.
