What "it" was was a clever and cartoonish take on crime as fairy tale, all of it set off by the insanely awesome diversion of Vera Farmiga killing upper middle class murdering child rapists.

My own personal holiday!  I'll celebrate with some Chinese, everything from a Diddle-eye Joe to a damned-if-I-know, some of my 'ladies,' and this briefcase of blow I had to kill some guy in a hat  who will amount to nothing in the coming decades, for.  Note to self:  Don't invite Blue Lou or Mr. Cucotti.

It's between the Italians and French.  Real greaseball and smelly cheese shit.

The Train.  The motherfuckin' Train.  It is a WWII movie.  It is the WWII movie about how cool the French Resistance was.  It is also an incredible psychological thriller as Paul Scofield (bad, Nazi, hiss!) matches wits and wills with Burt Lancaster (good, French!, does own stunts!) to prevent a part of France's

I wanted everything on this comment board to remain collegial.  Now everything's fucked into a cocked hat.

"Smoke this.  Then you'll understand."

"The finest film in the cinematic canon since Howard the Duck"

I am more tolerant than most of Tom Green as well but it was a good opportunity to tweak the troll.

"I missed you!"

A close runner-up:  Siring Max Brooks.

*Hedy Lamarr mugs outrageously at Lily's newfound love and loyalty to Bart*

A Well-Travelled Cadillac?

Now they're part of the extended Allman Bros. family since Derek Trucks married Susan Tedeschi.  What will the jam be like, maaaaaa-an?

HBO has put out some high quality shit and Citizen X is in the top five or ten for me.  Truly harrowing plot that plays on both the level of serial killer mystery thriller and as a Fall of Communism anti-procedural (due to the stultifying effect of apparatchik bureaucracy).

I'm just a caveman counselor.  When I see a person one day looking cute with bangs and the next slightly more severe, baring their forehead, I wonder, "Is this some kind of demonic doppelganger spawned from the same pit as those scaly monsters that ate my two weakest children?"
