Season 3 is my absolute favorite, without question. I didn't realize everyone else hated it. I'd go 3, 1, 2, 4, 5. I think the first three seasons are a near-perfect trilogy; it's still my favorite show on TV by leaps and bounds but I don't think the last 2 seasons have been quite as magical as the first 3.
