WHY DOESN'T SHE SHOW US HER BIRTH CERTIFICATE?!
Did someone call for a web-slinger?!
This thread is full of win.
From what I understand, you can have up to four people killing Zombies: Kennedy, Nixon, Castro, and MacNamara, each with their own quips as mentioned above. It's pretty fun for a simple spawn kill game.
Count me in as having fun in Nuketown. Is the spawning ridiculous? Yes. But I like the layout of that map more than the Junkyard from MW2, or whatever it was. Plus, without that goddamn Akimbo/Marathon combination, you can stay alive a bit longer.
If Community keeps going the way it is, it will be in AD territory. It'll need another season though. GODDAMMIT NBC DON'T FUCK THIS UP!
"Threshold" was so bad that even the creators and writers all agreed that that episode never happened. It's been erased… from existence. (But not like George Lucas tried with the Star Wars Holiday Special, just in their minds).
I remember being frustrated they didn't show a glimpse of the new Enterprise. Years later, rewatching it, I realized you could actually see the new Enterprise on the Master Display behind Picard in one of the clips. Stupid me!
That's a hard choice: watch Star Trek V, or Insurrection. I'm not sure which I'd go with.
That whole sequence was pretty cool. A fun odd-fact: for the first trailer for First Contact they had that scene on it, but they replaced the Enterprise with Voyager for some reason. Odd.
Bad Horse- We don't know what the real defenses for Earth are, but the Breen were able to get through and damage San Fransisco and Starfleet Command pretty bad (and in certain short stories, other cities as well).
Sarcasm aside, there was no real way they could portray the fight well enough with what they had at the time. If the show had aired last night instead of twenty some years ago, then we could have seen a pretty epic fight.
The drop-off of quality between First Contact and Insurrection is pretty bad. The further drop to Nemesis? Gah, and people blamed Enterprise for ending the franchise.
Wolf 359…
Going back to comments from last week's write-up, I'm rather glad they did the battle off-screen and we get to see the wreckage. With the way the budget was, and using actual physical models instead of CGI like they got to in later-day DS9, the battle might not have been all that impressive (for example, the…
They were automated drones. So thanks, AI!
I used to look up to you, Emperor Jim. But not anymore. Now I'm going to law school!
Go ahead, throw your vote away!
If only the country had been saturated by news about the upcoming election, with people talking about the specific date! Plus, they should teach that in high school, or something.
Well shit, now I get it too.
