I noticed the Coors placement pretty quick, but honestly it doesn't bother me as much because it makes Paddy's look like a bar still. As long as they don't start having Dave and Buster stuff show up in the bar then I'm OK with it.

Plus two awesome Picard quotations.

NERD ALERT: It's Sisko.

The first Voyager Q episode was pretty good, I thought. The rest… not so much.

I love this Q episode as well. One of the detraction's Zach mentions- the fact that it isn't as weighty as Q Who?- I thought was a strength for the episode. This was the first Q episode to really not be heavy-handed, but more fun. Q is one of the best characters to do that with- something TNG would later do with the

Very much agreed. Yesterday's Enterprise is one of those episodes you can re-watch countless times and it never gets old.

To kind of go on my point, I wouldn't expect Halo: Reach to have as good of a story line as, say, Mass Effect, but I'd hope it still had a decent one. The idea of playing a doomed character can be a good one, story-wise. It's a shame they didn't capitalize on it more.

Didn't South Park do well while in the theaters? I honestly don't remember.

I hear Biden gave Joe Scarborough a swirly on "Morning Joe." Also, he pantsed Buchanen.

Oh, and don't forget this one:

Very much agreed. I like the Onion's coverage of Obama so far, especially the "Obama depressed, distant since Battlestar Galactica finale."

I haven't played the game, but it'd be interesting to see how long Reach holds on for before its destruction. Since it's the center of the human fleet, it should hold on just as long as Earth did when they showed up in Halo 2 and 3.

That's the point Scott is making, though: the first Halo redefined the FPS by introducing a story that wasn't bland but engaging. I'd argue that Halo 2 had an interesting plot as well- not as good as Halo but still pretty good.

He's a decent news reporter as well.

And *that's* why we don't use fake drug stings to scare our kids.

Waitaminute…
Glee, the Complete First season is out… but so is a second volume of the first season?

One minute you're defending Jason Mewes, the next you're being told to kill yourself. Life on the internet is hilariously cruel.

Fucking Maximum Carnage. One of the most frustrating games I've ever played. I was able to beat the game one time or so, but goddamn did it take a while.

Those are some words of wisdom for people to live by, ZMF.
