Transferring wine between vessels at each step leaves a ~90% of the sediment behind, so that by the time it's in the bottle, there's very little visible sediment.

How do your process your pickles?  I tried once and they were so mushy that they were inedible as anything other than chopped up and added to something.  I've read that one secret is to process the jars at less than 212F.

Absolutely.  They spent too many episodes going nowhere last season.  They jumped forward in time and that let them ditch some of the worst character qualities.
