"well, that's a bit much"
@avclub-5a4048fbf4eb0fe64801b2bf0d6f94e7:disqus I can't wait to find out how it all shakes out sometime in 2017.
My non-reader girlfriend loves her some Robb Stark.
It would be silly for Catelyn to take his hand.
RE: #4 I have a feeling that Tywin is all good and happy knowing that he has a lord's daughter under his watch … but Roose has to be coming into Harrenhal sooner or later and/or Ayra hits the road before he can do anything about it.
TV is different from the books. There have been minor departures and then there have been some bigger ones. And I'm sure there are many more departures to come.
Agree. Martin needed a bastard of an editor to trim the fat.
Wait until Arya is a womanly 5'8" by the 4th season and Bran is 6'. They're going to have some serious WAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLTTTTTT issues if they don't modify the timeline a bit.
Yeah, my special lady friend thought the wolf was real at first. They did a heckuva job and Jaime sold the shit out of it.
A World Without Us was the basis for Life After People and goes fairly indepth (with a timeline!) for what happens if people spontaneously disappear.
The writers should have read A World Without Us and World War Z at least. Because it's painfully obvious they haven't thought of shit outside of some crappy cliches that don't go anywhere.
I'm way late commenting here, but it seems like the biggest issue is consistency and rules of engagement. Everything seems to be flexible and muddled. Can zombies use doors? Stairs? Can they run, shamble? How does the zombie virus work? Is there a lot of ammo or a little? Why? Is there a lot of gas? Food? How did…
I guess it would relate to direction, but every time someone is attacked, the camera pulls closer and closer to the actor and then … surprise!
I'm less concerned about gas. Depending on how quickly the wildfire took the population down about 90%, there's probably more gasoline available than these characters could use in 30 seasons of driving back and forth to firearms practice. Typically just a single gas station will have four 4-8,000 gallon tanks -…
I wouldn't be tired of the story if it was interesting.
and when they do tell the truth, Thomas or O'Brien are there to eavesdrop.
Considering that it was completely obvious that Mary and Matthew were going to get together, it was just a matter of time before Lavinia disappeared as a character. What was pissing me off was how interminable and uninteresting her story was before she finally shuffled off this mortal coil.
Elizabeth McGovern isn't much better.
Why? What did Bates do to her? Covered for her stealing? Not being a shitbag like her? Not giving her money? Oh wait, he did.
